The 2011 Topps Update Diamond Anniversary Auto Mike Trout might not initially seem like an extremely rare card, with 291 PSA 10’s having been graded at the time of writing this article, but even those can reach over $9,000. What set’s this card apart from the rest is the autograph, massively increasing the card’s rarity, value, and collector demand. As such, this Mike Trout card sold for $34,999.99.

With a chance of finding a Mike Trout card (among others) the 2012 Panini Prizm Baseball Hobby Case was well deserving of the top selling bid of $11,999.99. The case includes 12 boxes, which in turn contain 20, 6 card packs.

The 2003 Bowman R & S Chrome Refractor #123 Lebron James RC Rookie is a very rare card. With a print run of 300, only 52 have made their way to PSA for grading. Out of those, only 17 have ever been PSA 10’s. After a total of 104 bids, the Lebron James rookie sold for a whopping $55,101.

After 21 bids from 13 bidders, this 36 pack, sealed 1988 Fleer basketball wax box sold for $3,730. The most notable cards potentially hiding in this item are Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, and of course Michael Jordan's 2nd year cards.

This pack was from Topps first foray back into the Basketball card market since 1957.  This pack is really scarce.  Expect to find a handful of these up for sale each year.  The most notable cards to lookout for are those of Hall of Famers Lew Alcindor, John Havlicek, or Bill Bradley. The pack was sold to the highest bidder for $2,639.89.

2019-20 Panini Prizm Basketball Hobby 12 Box Case Blowout Cards - $25,299.95

 

The case includes 12 boxes, each with 12, 12 card packs. Each box contains 2 Autograph cards and 22 Prizm inserts guaranteed. The most notable cards from the set to keep an eye out for include Silver Prizms of Ja Morant, RJ Barrett, Rui Hachimura, and De’Andre Hunter.

The fine folks over at PWCC had another highlight in their most recent auction.  Out of over 16,000 cards graded by the PSA, only 108 have ever been graded as PSA 10’s. A truly rare find in mint condition, this Joe Montana rookie sold for $18,988 to the highest bidder during the week of 7/27.

Another highlight item for PWCC... After 32 bids, this 2000 Playoff Contenders Factory Sealed Hobby Box sold for $15,343. The box includes 12 packs, each of which contain 5 cards. The set included a plethora of memorable and high valued cards, but perhaps the one that stands out the most, is the autographed ticket 2000 Playoff Contenders Tom Brady rookie.

Along with the cards and good condition wrapper, the pack also came with a Mystery Quiz issued by Topps. After 42 bids and 19 bidders, the pack was sold for $2,749.01. The most notable cards to lookout for are rookies from the Hall of Famers Deacon Jones, Ray Nitschke, and Bob Lilly.
